What happened to the war in Iraq?
On page 1133 of your textbook, there is a brief discussion of the US bombing mission of Afghanistan ("Operation Enduring Freedom"); however, your book does not mention the US inavsion of Iraq ("Operation Iraqi Freedom").
Why do you think your book fails to mention the Iraq War -- a war that has already lasted longer than the US involvement in World War II (Dec 7, 1941 - August 15, 1945)?
